Fine-tune KC10 suspension with CLW009 springs

Four Kyosho CLW009 Super Soft Springs intended for KC10 chassis shock assemblies. These springs lower the spring rate compared with stock parts, improving small-bump sensitivity and initial compliance on 1/10 scale electric RC cars.

To fit, remove the shock from the chassis, disassemble the cap and shaft assembly, replace the original springs with the CLW009 set, and reassemble. Keep left and right springs matched in staggered setups and ensure free shaft movement before reinstalling the shock.

Performance impact: the super soft springs reduce preload and increase compliance, which can improve traction on bumpy or low-grip surfaces but may increase body roll and reduce mid-corner support unless damping and preload are adjusted to compensate.

Compatibility: Specifically for KC10 chassis shock assemblies; fit only where KC10-compatible shocks are called for.

Opt for CLW009 springs when you need a softer suspension feel on KC10-based 1/10 rigs, and verify fit with existing shock components prior to final assembly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
You will gain improved bump absorption and traction on rough surfaces, but expect increased body roll and potentially less precise mid-corner support unless you tune damping and preload to suit the softer springs.
They work best on low-grip or uneven surfaces where additional compliance helps maintain tyre contact. On smooth, high-grip tracks you may prefer firmer springs for better cornering support.
Adjust one parameter at a time: start with a small change in shock oil or preload, then test lap consistency. Log results and iterate to avoid over-softening the chassis response.
