High Torque Servo for Competitive Use

The KO Propo 30203 - BSx2 Response is aimed at racers and dedicated hobbyists who want dependable steering input. Its combination of torque and quick transit time helps maintain control under hard cornering and heavy loads.

Design Highlights and Materials

The servo pairs a brushless motor with dual bearings for reduced internal friction and repeatable centring. A hard alumite aluminium gearset and a heat sink middle case improve resistance to wear and help dissipate heat. Gold plated connectors provide secure electrical contact and the unit fits standard 1/8 and 1/10 mounting patterns.

Specifications

  • Torque: 18.1Kg-cm @7.4V, 15.4Kg-cm @6.0V
  • Speed: 0.08sec/60deg @7.4V, 0.09sec/60deg @6.0V
  • Dimensions: 41x38x20mm
  • Weight: 62.4g
  • Operating Voltage: 6.0 to 7.4V (Lipo, Life, Ni-MH)

Well suited to upgrades where drivers demand repeatability and speed, particularly for 1/8 off-road, 1/8 on-road and 1/10 EP off-road vehicles.

Mechanically it can be used where a full size servo fits, but using a single high performance servo for throttle is uncommon; steering is the ideal application here.
Mount with good airflow around the heat sink middle case and avoid enclosing it in tight, unventilated compartments to help dissipate heat during long runs.
Upgrading to metal servo horns, checking linkages for slop, and pairing with a stable 2S Lipo supply are common steps to get the best out of this servo.
Keep the connectors clean, check for play in the gears periodically, and inspect the mounting to ensure screws remain tight after hard runs.
Yes, when installed and cooled correctly it offers the torque and repeatability needed for regular club events, provided you use an appropriate battery and receiver.
