Normal washing and light pressure washers are usually fine, but avoid strong jets close up to keep edges intact.

Will they leave glue on removal?

If removed slowly and warmed slightly they should peel away cleanly; any residue can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.

Are these suitable for painted shells?

They bond to painted and unpainted polycarbonate, but test a small area first if you are unsure about paint compatibility.
