Black antenna whips for hobby models

The Kyosho 1708B set contains four black antenna whips made for hobby-grade scale RC models. They are intended to restore external antenna styling and to provide a visible reference while driving.

Each whip fits typical antenna housings and tubing used on many 1/10-scale kits. The parts are model-specific components and must not be used on full-size vehicles.

Fitting is simple: remove the old antenna, insert the new whip into the tube or mount, then secure any retaining clip or screw fitted to your chassis. Standard hobby hand tools are all that is required.

Keep these spares for quick repairs, maintaining consistent external appearance across a fleet, or to avoid replacing the radio set when only the external whip needs renewal.

Avoid snagging the whip on obstacles and store spares in a protective case. If you need to shorten the whip for clearance, cut carefully and deburr the edge to reduce stress points.
