The Kyosho TF7 is an updated touring car kit that builds on the TF6 SP with targeted changes to chassis and mounting to enhance stability and grip. The design focuses on predictable handling for competitive driving.
The TF7 uses balanced component placement to promote consistent roll characteristics during cornering. Bulkhead and motor mount screws are attached to the main chassis, and floating mounts for the battery and steering servo cut down their influence on chassis behaviour.
Reducing the main chassis thickness to 2.25mm and adding a one-piece upper plate improves stiffness and mechanical grip. The rear gear differential uses lighter resin bevel gears to help with quicker acceleration response.
Shorter suspension arms and shocks sharpen handling on high grip tracks, while adjustable holders let you tailor suspension geometry. The overhauled 2-belt 4WD system features a larger pulley and an aluminium motor mount to reduce belt wear and gearbox load.
A strong choice for experienced racers, the TF7 delivers a tunable and stable platform that responds well to setup tuning and track demands.
