The Kyosho 30048 - LAZER ZX7 refines the ZX series for current competition tracks by keeping the controlled handling of the ZX-6 and introducing a narrower main chassis to improve stiffness and drop unnecessary mass, enhancing consistency on carpet and artificial turf.
Designed around a centre midship motor and centre shaft driven 4WD, the chassis provides even power distribution. A7075-T6 grade Duralumin is used throughout to offer a strong but light foundation, with an upper deckless arrangement and side stiffeners to control flex for tuned setups.
Independent double wishbone suspension with turnbuckle upper links allows fine adjustment for camber and toe. The short gullwing front arms and broad aluminium mounts enhance tyre contact area, while caster adjustments and aluminium steering arms ensure reliable steering feedback.
The bodywork directs air with a central fin and slim cockpit to reduce buffeting. A sturdier 1.0mm rear wing improves rear grip and longevity, aiding stability during fast corner entries and exits.
The Kyosho 30048 - LAZER ZX7 is aimed at competitive drivers who need a responsive, tuneable chassis for high-traction indoor racing.
