The Optima Mid earned attention at the 1987 IFMAR 4WD World Championships by getting several entries into the A-Main. For its 60th Anniversary Kyosho brings back the 30643, a Worlds-spec interpretation that keeps the original layout while using contemporary materials and parts.

Balanced Mid-Motor Geometry with Carbon Parts

The defining mid-mounted motor arrangement and double-deck layout gave the original exceptional balance. The anniversary kit recreates this with a carbon main chassis and carbon upper deck to combine vintage geometry with modern rigidity and longevity.

Period Livery with Updated Finishes

While the classic 1987 livery remains, component finishes have been modernised to gunmetal for a clean racing appearance. The Optima Pro body is reworked for the mid-chassis fit and a large polycarbonate rear wing is supplied, with peppermint green Ultima-style wheels reflecting the original colour cue.
