Kyosho 31598TG V-ONE SR: Precision Touring Chassis

The Kyosho 31598TG is a purpose-built nitro touring car that blends a finely tuned 4WD layout with the OS MAX 12TG-P engine to deliver consistent on-track behaviour. It is designed for racers who focus on setup and lap-to-lap repeatability.

Engineered for Controlled Power Delivery

The three-belt drive system and two-speed automatic gearbox optimise how the OS MAX 12TG-P delivers torque and top end. The 7075-grade Duralumin main chassis provides a tuned flex characteristic that supports stable cornering and responsive steering.

Tuneable Suspension and Mass Distribution

Dial-adjustable resin oil shocks allow careful tuning of height and damping to match track conditions. Shortening rear overhang and fitting 9mm pivot ball rear hubs shifts mass centrally and lengthens arm leverage to enhance tyre contact through the cornering phase.

Race-Ready Fuel System and Layout

The 75cc fuel tank follows the champion V-ONE RRR placement to maintain steady fuel delivery during long runs. With the battery mounted beneath the tank the centre of gravity stays low, and optional stabiliser fittings let you balance understeer and oversteer to taste.

The Kyosho 31598TG is a capable platform for club and regional competition, offering the adjustability and build quality needed for serious nitro touring work.

Use a reliable 2.4GHz radio system and a high-torque metal-geared steering servo to handle steering loads at speed. Choose a receiver battery that fits under the fuel tank without raising the centre of gravity.
Start with baseline tyre choice and shock oil, then adjust ride height and droop before changing anti roll options. Make small changes and log lap times to find improvements.
The tank sits in the V-ONE RRR style position for consistent fuel pickup, though minor mounting adjustments and foam padding can be used to trim balance and damping.
Keep spare belts, clutch shoes, shock seals and a set of tyres to cover common wear items. Also carry basic tools like the hex wrenches included to address quick fixes.
