This Kyosho readyset is presented as a fully assembled MINI-Z package founded on the MR-04 RWD chassis, intended for indoor electric RC driving and for those who plan to tune the platform over time. The included JAGUAR XJR-14 No.4 LM 1991 body is display-finished and fitted at the factory for immediate use.

The MR-04 chassis lowers the centre of gravity and revises steering geometry to deliver steadier, more linear steering response compared with earlier MINI-Z platforms. Updated knuckles and 3 mm inner-diameter ball bearings reduce rotational resistance, while a geared differential and ball bearing installations on key axles reduce drivetrain losses for consistent handling.

Compatibility is with the MINI-Z racer body range, but note the separately available LED light unit MZW429R cannot be mounted on this Jaguar shell. For enhanced on-track control, the optional MZW711 gyro may be added and its sensitivity altered via the chassis volume control.

To prepare the model, install 4 x AAA alkaline batteries in the chassis and 4 x AAA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries in the Syncro KT-531P transmitter, then set neutral trims and steering dual-rate. The car starts in training mode to limit speed, and a wide selection of MINI-Z optional parts is supported for further tuning, including pinions, shock variations, and chassis reinforcement items.
