The MINI-Z RWD MR-04 readyset is supplied factory-assembled on the MR-04 two-wheel-drive chassis and fitted with a detailed McLaren P1 GTR body finished with paint and decals. It is ideal for collectors and modelers who want a tunable, display-quality small-scale electric R/C.

The McLaren P1 GTR body reflects a track-oriented evolution of the P1, focusing on increased aerodynamic downforce and circuit performance compared with the road-going car. This non-road-legal variant is designed for closed-course demonstration and display use.

The readyset ships with the pre-assembled MR-04 chassis, the painted McLaren P1 GTR body, and a Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter. Key MR-04 changes from previous platforms include a lower center of gravity, revised front knuckles with integrated kingpins to reduce scrub, and matched bearing sizes to reduce rotational friction. The geared differential supports smooth cornering, and the rear pod employs a T-bar suspension plate with a coil spring damper; an optional oil-filled shock is available separately. The standard readyset uses a 130-class brushed motor and requires AAA batteries for both chassis and transmitter. Owners can fit numerous MINI-Z optional parts for tuning and may add a gyro unit for easier handling. Note that the separate LED light unit MZW429R cannot be fitted to the McLaren P1 GTR body provided in this set.
