10th Anniversary Tribute to the Inferno MP9 TKI4
The Kyosho Inferno name has been synonymous with 1/8 scale nitro off-road racing for over a decade, earning eight World Championship titles and a loyal following among racers. The MP9, first released in 2008, secured the 12th World Championship in Thailand in 2010. To celebrate that legacy Kyosho produced the Inferno MP9 TKI4 10th Anniversary Edition, fitted with premium additions and optional parts valued at more than 30,000 Yen to enhance competitive readiness.
Performance Enhancements for Circuit Racing
This anniversary variant preserves the TKI4 platform while adding performance-minded tweaks. The front receiver battery position from the earlier TKI3 layout improves weight balance at the nose. Reinforced front suspension arms refine contact with the track and improve cornering. Longer universal shafts and upgraded tie rods with reinforced ball ends increase drivetrain robustness under race conditions.
The aerodynamic clear body is tuned to aid cornering and traction, and the wing with twin fins helps stabilise the buggy on jumps. A Gurney flap increases rear traction for a range of track surfaces. Useful fittings such as the air cleaner holder and fuel filter holder are included to help avoid engine trouble during long events.
Dimensions, Compatibility and Required Items
Measured at 490mm long, 307mm wide and 180mm high with 28mm ground clearance, the kit features an adjustable 325mm wheelbase. Tires and engine are not supplied; the kit contains the special clear body, wheels, logo decals and window masking seals. You will need a 2-channel R/C system, a 21-class engine, muffler, manifold and other typical build items to complete the car.
