This front shock tower mount is an aftermarket option for the Kyosho FW05RR chassis, produced in SSG graphite to provide a stiffer shock top. The stiffer mount reduces unwanted flex while keeping mass low for 1/10 on-road competition and club racing.
Replacing the stock tower changes top rigidity and slightly shifts pickup geometry, which can refine steering delivery and improve consistency through repeated runs. The part is supplied as a direct-replacement unit concentrating on precise fit and repeatable behaviour rather than extra adjustment slots.
Fitting requires basic RC workshop tools and routine disassembly of the relevant fasteners. During installation confirm tower alignment and shock shaft clearance, and check spacing with your selected springs and pistons before final assembly. This is a model-scale suspension component only.
