Overview of the front graphite tower

This front shock tower is a direct replacement designed for the Kyosho FW05RR chassis, referenced as FW05-RR005-GT/A. Made of graphite, it forms the front suspension mount and keeps the stock FW05RR mounting layout for a simple swap.

Fitting the tower is a routine job for 1/10 on-road builders: remove the bodywork and detach the front shocks, take off the original tower, then secure the graphite piece with the existing fixings. No special chassis alterations should be required.

On the setup bench, the stiffer graphite mounting surface reduces deflection compared with many plastic towers, which helps preserve shock geometry and makes camber and toe adjustments more repeatable. Use it when refining front balance or testing shock locations on smooth circuits.
