Rear suspension replacement for Kyosho MB-010

The Kyosho MBW025G-0 is a machined aluminium rear suspension mount made for the Mini-Z MB-010 chassis. It replaces the factory rear mount to provide a more robust metal fixing point compared with the original plastic component.

This MBW025G-0 mount permits rear toe adjustment from 0 up to +3 degrees, allowing setup refinement to alter rear traction and corner behaviour. Incremental toe changes can alter turn-in and mid-corner stability, so adjust in small steps and record results.

Fitting is simple: use the MB-010 rear mounting points and existing hardware, then confirm alignment after tightening bolts. Inspect for any interference with adjacent suspension parts and perform regular maintenance checks on the aluminium surfaces following initial running.

Will this work with modified rear hubs?

It is made for the Mini-Z MB-010 mounting pattern. If you run modified hubs, check that the altered geometry does not conflict with the MBW025G-0 mount before installation.

Do I need shims to set toe precisely?

Toe is adjusted in small mechanical increments; you normally do not need special shims. Make controlled changes and re-evaluate handling after each adjustment to reach the desired setting.

What should I check after fitting?

After fitting the MBW025G-0, recheck fastener torque, ensure there is no play at the mount, and confirm clearances with nearby suspension components. Re-inspect after a short running session.
