Plate overview and purpose

This graphite front arm plate is an aftermarket upgrade for Kyosho Mini Inferno ST, Mini Inferno and Mini Inferno 09 chassis, intended to support the rear gear box area. Supplied in blue graphite finish, it replaces compatible stock plates where chassis layout and rear gear box clearance are the same as the listed Mini Inferno models.

Functionality: by tying the front arm mounts into the rear gear box section, the plate helps preserve suspension geometry under load and provides a firmer mounting surface than many original plastic components. It is beneficial for roll centre adjustments and for installations that add extra mass to the front assembly.

How to fit: use basic RC tools to remove the existing front arm plate and screws, align the new graphite plate with the rear gear box mounts, then secure using OEM or equivalent hex fasteners. After installation, check suspension travel and driveline clearance. The package contains 1 pcs of the plate in blue graphite.

Practical tips: confirm the exact Mini Inferno variant fit before final assembly, deburr mating surfaces as needed, and apply a low-strength threadlocker to metal fasteners if you do not plan frequent removals. The component is for RC chassis applications only.

The stiffer mounting surface can help keep suspension geometry consistent during aggressive use, but always confirm fit and perform setup changes on a test run before competitive events.
The plate reduces flex at the mounting points which can change chassis response; expect a firmer feel and adjust damper settings or roll centre as required.
Cycle the suspension through full travel, inspect for driveline contact, and confirm there is no interference with steering linkages after installation.
