This aftermarket rear damper tower suits Kyosho Mini Inferno cars, including the Mini Inferno 09, and replaces the standard rear shock mount. Machined from aluminium alloy, the tower increases the stiffness of the mounting area compared with stock plastic components and retains the original shock pickup points to preserve the chassis layout.

Fitting is direct for those used to Mini Inferno servicing: the alloy tower replaces the stock rear damper mount and is secured with the supplied screws as a one-piece set. The strengthened mounting point helps keep shock alignment under load, which aids predictable spring and damper adjustments.

Consider this as a support component for setup work rather than a dramatic handling mod. Reducing pivot flex at the mount makes the effects of spring rates and damping changes easier to interpret when testing on different surfaces.
