Does the MZN100-2 work with painted shells?

Paint can change hole clearances. After painting, test-fit the shell with the mount and carefully open up any holes that are too tight to ensure a secure fit.

Will this mount change the car's balance?

The mount itself holds the body more securely rather than adding weight, so it tends to stabilise front-end behaviour rather than altering balance significantly.

Are spare fixings available if needed?

If screws or small parts are lost or damaged, replacement hardware of the same size and thread should be used. Check common Mini-Z screw kits for suitable spares.
