Replacement 22-tooth second gear for V One RRR

The V3R-0822 hardened 22T aluminium second gear is supplied for Kyosho V One RRR and V One RRR Evo 1/10 touring car gearboxes. It replaces the original second gear using a harder aluminium to improve resistance to tooth wear compared with typical soft alloys.

Installation follows standard gearbox service routines: remove the gearbox cover, extract the old second gear and bearings if required, and press the replacement onto the shaft or into the carrier using appropriate workshop tools. After assembly, set correct mesh and endplay, check bearings, and carry out a short low-power break-in.

This hardened 22T should be viewed as a service and durability upgrade rather than a performance ratio change; it is commonly fitted when teeth become worn or where a tougher tooth surface is needed for frequent or demanding running.
