This aluminium universal swing drive shaft set is provided for use with the Kyosho Optima 2016 chassis and acts as a replacement for the original swing drive components. The parts are intended to link gearbox output to the wheels using the same swing drive geometry.

The JR-OT06 kit is suitable when you need a like-for-like replacement or an aftermarket upgrade while retaining Optima 2016 drive geometry. Aluminium construction helps maintain dimensional stability compared with softer materials, supporting consistent alignment and drivetrain behaviour.

Fitment notes: verify shaft seating into the gearbox output and correct engagement with CVD or universal joints before completing assembly, tighten grub screws or retaining clips to the chassis manufacturer's recommended torque, and confirm clearance with full suspension travel and wheel hubs.
