Replacement pinion for Inferno MP Series drivetrains

The Kyosho PNGS0821 steel pinion is supplied as a direct replacement, shown in the product title as 21T/0.8M/?5.0 and intended for Inferno MP Series applications such as the MP11e. It is intended for RC model drivetrain use only.

This steel pinion is constructed to resist wear in normal RC operation while offering consistent tooth engagement for dependable meshing. The 21-tooth count and 0.8 module match motor pinion norms found in Kyosho MP-series configurations; the "?5.0" notation should be accepted as provided.

Installation guidance: confirm the pinion bore and correct set-screw alignment before finalising mesh, ensure correct seating on the motor shaft and secure with the appropriate hex screw torque, and verify clearance from the spur gear to prevent accelerated wear. When experimenting with gear ratios, remember that changing the pinion tooth count will alter acceleration and top speed, so adjust incrementally and test thoroughly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The product is associated with the Inferno MP Series, including MP11e models. Check the pinion bore and motor shaft dimensions and trial-fit the gear to verify correct mesh before permanent fastening.
Set an initial gap using a thin card, run the model briefly and then fine-tune the mesh under light load. Ensure set screws are clear of keyways and retighten after the first run.
Changing pinion size alters load on the motor. After a pinion swap, monitor motor temperature and performance and adjust ESC settings as needed to suit the new gear ratio.
