Will this change my gearing setup?

Fitting the Kyosho SCW011GM should not alter gear ratios, but you should recheck pinion to spur mesh after installation to ensure correct clearance.

Is specialist tooling required to fit it?

Standard hex drivers and a torque aware approach are sufficient; no special tooling is required beyond normal RC workshop kit.

Are spare screws included?
