A tired spring reduces preload control and can make handling inconsistent. If you notice variable turn-in or reduced drive out of corners, consider replacing the spring assembly.

Are there tuning notes for different surfaces?

Run lighter preload on low grip surfaces for better rotation and increase preload slightly on higher grip tracks to limit inside wheel spin. Test adjustments incrementally to find the best setting.
