This is a 1/48 injection-moulded plastic kit of the Kyushu J7W2 interceptor, sold within Hasegawa's 1/48 aircraft range and intended for modellers and collectors aiming to replicate a late-war Japanese experimental fighter.

The J7W Shinden family used a canard arrangement with a rear-mounted engine and pusher propeller to counter high-altitude bomber threats. The prototype J7W1 flew in 1945, while the J7W2 concept represented an evolution that did not reach large-scale operational service before the end of hostilities.

The kit captures the aircraft's compact fuselage, aft-mounted powerplant and forward canard surfaces, and it is furnished with decal options for the 352nd Flying Group. Mouldings emphasise panel detail and surface texture for 1/48, and the modeller chooses assembly, paint and finish treatments.

Assembly advice: ensure precise fit of the canard components and rear fuselage sections to maintain the aircraft's characteristic outline.
