LAW88-01 replacement shaft for slipper clutch

This slipper shaft set is a direct replacement component for the LAW88 one-way slipper clutch used in RC-scale drivetrains. It carries the ZX7.5 marking and is intended to operate within the original LAW88 clutch assembly without altering other clutch parts.

The shaft transmits torque across the slipper mechanism and plays a role in how the clutch cushions abrupt load changes. Fitting a fresh shaft eliminates issues caused by wear, restoring consistent engagement characteristics and aiding predictable adjustment responses.

Installation notes: install the shaft into the existing LAW88 slipper housing with the correct one-way orientation. After installation confirm free rotation and sufficient clearance, then re-establish slipper preload and friction settings to keep the intended engagement feel.

Replace the shaft when wear is evident or when reliable slipper performance is needed for consistent RC vehicle setup and operation.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is manufactured to match LAW88 assemblies that use the ZX7.5 shaft profile. Confirm your assembly uses ZX7.5 before fitting to ensure compatibility.
Align the one-way clutch markers and test rotation by hand; the shaft should allow free movement in the intended direction and lock as expected in the opposite direction.
If clutch plates show significant wear, replace them too. A new shaft with worn plates may not fully resolve engagement inconsistencies.
No specialist service is required for competent hobbyists; follow standard assembly checks and re-establish slipper settings after fitting.
