Robust diff housing for LOSI LMT platforms

This differential housing replaces the stock unit on LOSI LMT solid axle monster trucks, designed to locate and protect the bevel gears within front, centre and rear assemblies. The external shell uses medium carbon steel for enhanced toughness and wear resistance, while the central section is 7075 aluminium to lower rotating mass at the axle interface. A rubber sealing ring is included to improve oil and dirt sealing around the housing.

The component secures correct gear mesh and provides a stiffer mounting than factory plastic housings, helping to maintain gear alignment under high loads and delivering more reliable gear performance across rough terrain.

Fitting notes: the package supplies the required fasteners and shims to mount the housing into the axle or centre gearbox and reinstall the internal gears. After fitting verify gear lash and bearing endplay, and use the supplied aluminium shims to fine tune mesh and preload.

Replace a worn plastic housing with this aluminium-steel case for improved rigidity and better sealing on LOSI LMT diffs; always recheck gear mesh and bearings after assembly.
