Precision 12x8mm hex adapter for LOSI LMT driveline

This 12x8mm aluminium hex adapter is a direct-fit replacement for the LOSI LMT 4WD solid axle monster truck, providing a precise interface between wheel hexes and axle pins. The part uses 6061-T6 aluminium to combine rigidity with low rotating mass.

The adapter incorporates a double-hole configuration and an extra 2.5mm locking hole to accept a retention pin or a correctly sized screw, allowing secure fixation to the axle or driveshaft. Steel pins are supplied to enhance retention under heavy loads and reduce shear risk.

Fitment is straightforward: slide the adapter onto the matching 12x8mm shaft, align the 2.5mm locking hole, then insert the supplied pin or screw. Confirm minimal endplay and use thread-lock where threaded fasteners engage aluminium parts.
