Tunable steering link for LOSI LMT solid axle models

Made as an aftermarket replacement for LOSI LMT 4WD solid axle monster truck platforms, this component is designated LMT162. Forged from 7075-T6 alloy, the link delivers a rigid, dimensionally accurate interface between the servo horn and steering knuckles while keeping LMT-series mounting compatibility.

Retained specifications include a centre length adjustment from 100 to 113mm and a dual-direction spring force adjustment to set a safe breakaway point. The spring system is intended to reduce high impact loads transferred to the servo, helping prevent gear damage, backlash and motor stall at the servo output under sudden obstruction.

Fitting is done with the supplied screws and the 3.0 lock nut. Before final tightening, confirm link length and horn geometry, set neutral with your transmitter, then fine-tune spring preload to achieve the desired trade-off between steering precision and servo overload protection.
