Reinforced upper 4-link in 7075 aluminium

The GPM LMTM049FR upper 4-link bar set is an RC-scale replacement intended for LOSI Mini LMT chassis, manufactured from 7075 aluminium to increase strength at the upper link attachment points. The item replaces the stock upper links with a metal solution suited to regular trail driving and bashing.

On the listed compatible model installation is straightforward: the bars fit the original upper link positions and use the factory mounting points so they can be swapped in without modifying the chassis on the specified LOSI RTR. Because the upper link stiffness changes chassis behaviour, review your link geometry and damper settings after fitting to fine tune handling.

This aftermarket component emphasises a thicker cross section and higher tensile material at the upper four-link plane, and is provided as an RC accessory rather than a full-size vehicle part.

Will these change the vehicle stance?

They are sized to the factory mounting points so overall ride height should not change, but altered link stiffness can affect body roll and weight transfer under cornering.

What finish is used on the aluminium?

The parts are finished to resist wear and provide consistent mounting surfaces; clean and inspect them after heavy use to keep mating surfaces free of grit.

Do these require different maintenance than plastic links?

Aluminium links need the same basic checks as plastic: ensure fasteners remain tight, look for wear at pivot points, and remove debris to avoid accelerated wear of link eyes.
