7075 alloy replacement for transmission seating

This replacement kit provides machined 7075 alloy inserts to renew worn seating points inside the PROMOTO-MX transmission housing. Compared with plastic inserts the alloy pieces offer greater wear resistance and a harder seat for shafts and bearings.

Installation involves removing the transmission housing, extracting the old inserts and pressing in the new 7075 alloy components. Minor cleanup of housing flash or using a gentle press may be required to ensure a firm fit; take care not to over-tension adjacent screws. Properly installed inserts keep shafts aligned under load and can reduce drivetrain slack for more repeatable gear behaviour.

These inserts are intended for 1/4 scale PROMOTO-MX RC motorcycles only and are not suitable for road or full-size use. Check the compatible model codes listed below before fitting.
