The Yokomo SD-414TA is an RC-scale aluminium light weight kingpin built to replace the factory stepped screw that secures the front knuckle. By lowering mass at the steering pivot it helps the knuckle respond faster while keeping the original mounting interface intact, making it an easy upgrade for drivers refining front-end responsiveness.

Fitment is straightforward: remove the original stepped screw and flange, install the included hard-coated flange, and fasten the knuckle with the provided titanium button-head screws. Since the part preserves the stock knuckle geometry, roll centre and ackermann remain unchanged and steering adjustments are achieved through normal suspension and alignment tuning.

From a handling viewpoint this kingpin provides a modest reduction in rotational inertia around the steering axis, which can sharpen initial turn-in and improve transitions. It is complementary to caster, toe and damper adjustments rather than a substitute for broader setup changes.
