Propeller shaft is the best alternative to the Tamiya ones which are extremely hard to find. Fits the TA-02 gearbox perfectly but you need to cut off the shaft guide molded to the stock upper deck of the 01/02 chassis to ensure smooth operation.
Aluminium typically offers superior wear resistance compared with many stock plastic shafts, but lifespan depends on driving conditions and maintenance. Regular inspection and correct installation extend service life.
No gearbox modifications should be necessary if the shaft geometry matches the original. The part is intended as a drop-in replacement when mount points and lengths correspond.
