MS2.0 chassis plate in steel

This steel main chassis is a direct accessory for the Master Speed MS2.0 platform and is intended as a scale RC main chassis component only. The component's steel construction increases mass relative to alloy or composite plates and repositions mounting points lower on the chassis to move the vehicle's centre of gravity downward.

Lowered fixing positions will alter suspension geometry and body clearance interplay; during installation confirm screw alignment and perform progressive ride height and droop checks. Plan to adjust spring preload and anti-roll tuning to suit the changed mass distribution rather than altering electronics or drivetrain components.

Specifications

  • Item Main chassis
  • Material Steel
  • Model Number MS-002S-2
  • Compatibility MSR-020S / MSR-020 / MSR-020A

Compatible Models

  • MSR-020S

Opt for this chassis when a denser, lower-mounted plate is required to influence balance and roll; always verify clearances and re-tune suspension after installation.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is made for cars that use the MSR-020 family of plates; however, check your vehicle's mounting points to ensure they correspond to MSR-020S, MSR-020, or MSR-020A before fitting.
In most cases electronic and servo mounts remain compatible, but confirm there is sufficient vertical clearance for ESC, motor, and servo because the chassis plate sits lower.
After fitting, inspect fastener torque, check that no wiring or components are pinched by the lower plate, and perform a short test run to verify suspension travel and body clearance under load.
Steel can be more susceptible to surface wear than some alloys; keep the chassis clean, check for corrosion if exposed to moisture, and inspect mounting holes for elongation after heavy use.
