The Yokomo BD12 is a concerted effort to refine handling in 1/10 on-road touring cars, delivering a reduced centre of gravity and improved dynamic balance. Launched for the 2023-24 competition season, the BD12 targets stable, repeatable behaviour on race circuits.
At the core of the BD12 is an updated motor mount that boosts pitching rigidity, working alongside the split upper deck and A.T.F active top deck flex to tighten turn-in and mid-corner control. Shock bodies have been shortened and spring holders now accept bearings to remove spring twist and maintain linear suspension movement.
The chassis benefits from a carbon plate that increases pitching stiffness and a 90T spur gear that contributes to a lower centre of gravity. Forward motor placement helps centralise mass for enhanced rotation, and the new front shock tower with variable rear shock angle offers broad setup options for differing track conditions.
The Yokomo BD12 gives experienced racers a platform that responds to careful setup, combining rigidity and adjustability to help extract consistent lap times.
