This Serpent 402204 DJC sleeve BB alu is produced as an RC-scale insert to secure and align small ball bearings inside the Medius X26 steel EP (SER400052) chassis where sleeve bearing seats are used. The aluminium construction provides a consistent, wear-resistant seat for 1/10 electric touring car bearing locations.

Functionally the sleeve replaces compromised bearing seats or is used to fine-tune lateral clearance at suspension and drivetrain mounting points. Being a small aluminium insert, its effect is focused on bearing fit and play rather than on major chassis dimensions; correct fit can reduce play and improve repeatable suspension behaviour under load.
