Mid mount wing and bumper overview

The Yokomo YOKB2-001WB is a dedicated mid-position rear wing mount and bumper assembly for the B-MAX2 / MR touring car chassis. It holds the rear wing in position and supplies a bumper interface that reduces body misalignment from small impacts.

Ensure you are using a B-MAX2 / MR chassis before ordering, as the component is specific to that series. The mid location changes wing lever arm and vertical placement relative to the chassis centreline, which alters rear downforce and handling balance in corners.

Fitting is straightforward for experienced touring car builders: remove the existing mount and bumper, align the YOKB2-001WB to the chassis mounting bosses, and tighten with the original screws. Standard hex drivers are usually all that is required; inspect thread engagement and clearances after installation.

Track care tip: the mid-position offers a balanced aerodynamic response. Check mounting hardware periodically and inspect the bumper area for wear after contact to maintain consistent performance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
After impacts check the bumper face and mounting points for cracks or looseness. Tighten screws if needed and replace the mount if structural damage is found.
Regularly verify screw tightness and inspect for wear where the bumper contacts obstacles. Clean mounting bosses and recheck fit after heavy use.
Minor reinforcement of adjacent body mounts or using shock-absorbing bumper materials can reduce repeated impact stress, but always ensure parts remain compatible with the B-MAX2 / MR mounting layout.
