M4WD-01/BK 2mm spacers for setup and clearance tuning

This 2mm spacer set provides a basic spacing solution for Tamiya Mini 4WD models. The parts are intended to be fitted between axle pieces or under rollers to refine lateral clearance and alignment, avoiding chassis modification. The following guidance is aimed at model builders and collectors who perform routine setup work.

Typical scenarios include correcting slight lateral play on axles, moving rollers to prevent body rub, and ensuring consistent spacing when replacing old components. As a non-structural spare part, these spacers do not change gear ratios and are compatible with common Mini 4WD axles and rollers that accept standalone spacer pieces.

Manufacturing tolerances and finish can affect how the spacer sits, so test on the exact axle and roller type before relying on the part for racing. Race eligibility varies by organiser, so verify any restrictions. The product is offered as a maintenance and fitting accessory rather than a competitive performance upgrade.

Excellent service, two of the items I purchased were out of stock but was given fair options on refund, store credit or replacement. I opted for replacement as there was a different version available and one of the items did arrive bent and they sent out
They are compatible where the roller or bearing inner diameter accepts the spacer. Confirm physical clearance and bearing seating before final assembly.
Check axial play, roller parallelism, and free rotation. Look for signs of rubbing or binding and rework if necessary.
If fit is loose or tight, consider a different spacer bore, a shim arrangement, or sourcing a spacer with closer tolerances for that axle type.
Minor clearance changes can influence how the car tracks, especially at high speed. Use small adjustments and retest handling on your usual surface.
