Use these rings to reinstate sealing where contamination or lubricant loss is a concern. They are intended for routine maintenance and simple repairs; replace any ring that is cracked, flattened, or otherwise compromised to avoid secondary wear on nearby components.
Installation is quick: remove the old O-ring, clean the groove, and position the new 7x1 ring so it sits evenly. A light application of an RC-safe lubricant can ease the process but do not overapply. Store spares away from sunlight and heat to maintain elasticity over time.
