This graphite front shock tower plate is supplied as a replacement for cars built to the Team Losi Mini-T SSG specification where a graphite-mounted tower is used. Its primary function is to provide front shock mounting points and to set the upper suspension geometry used during setup.
On vehicles with the Mini-T SSG tower layout the swap is simple: remove the original plate and install this graphite unit, reusing existing hardware when appropriate. Before final tightening check that holes line up and that shock spacing is correct to prevent preload or binding in the front suspension.
Graphite tends to give higher torsional stiffness compared with some injection-molded plastics, which can change how load is transmitted into the bulkhead and suspension arms. Experiment with the tower's mounting positions to change shock angle and leverage, and make small recorded adjustments to ride height and camber to judge handling changes.
