Upgrade alloy steering plate for Mini-Z AWD

This aftermarket aluminium steering plate is intended for Kyosho Mini-Z AWD cars and is supplied as 1pcs. The additional +0.2mm thickness adjusts steering geometry slightly to help with alignment and deliver a more predictable steering response during setup. It is built for 1:28 scale Mini-Z AWD builds and pairs with existing steering linkages without needing servo or knuckle replacements.

Installation is simple for anyone familiar with Mini-Z teardown: remove the stock plate, test-fit the alloy plate to the steering knuckle and servo horn, then secure with the original fasteners. Basic hex drivers cover the job. Check steering clearance and throw before final runs. The aluminium plate lowers flex compared with many stock plastic plates, providing steadier inputs on race or road runs.

From a setup view the +0.2mm thickness works like a micro-shim in the steering stack and can affect toe and ackermann when used with different knuckle or link combinations; consider it for small steering precision tweaks rather than altering tie-rod lengths or swapping core components.
