Delrin/Titanium 12T pinion for Mini-Z Overland

This 12T motor gear is supplied as an aftermarket replacement compatible with Kyosho Mini-Z Overland models and carries the designation DMOL012T. It comes in Delrin or a titanium-infused Delrin form to provide low friction and consistent wear behaviour for small electric drivetrains.

Use case: replace a worn 12T pinion or trial different materials while tuning handling and noise. The gear meshes the motor pinion with the gearbox and plays a key part in engagement smoothness and the audible character of the drivetrain.

Installation notes: remove the motor per your Mini-Z Overland procedure, slide the old 12T pinion off the shaft, then install DMOL012T with the same orientation. Adjust mesh and axial play with the spur gear before securing the motor, and reuse the original screws. Only normal hobby hex drivers are required.

Tuning role: opting for Delrin or titanium-infused Delrin affects run-in noise and long term wear; Delrin often reduces squeal while the titanium option modifies wear characteristics under load. Keep the gearbox clean and inspect the pinion after sessions to prolong life.
