Thrust Bearing Retainer for MTX-5 Gearboxes

Arrowmax AM-MTX-T2707 is a spring steel thrust bearing retainer supplied as an aftermarket replacement for Mugen MTX-5 drivetrains, made to hold thrust bearings in their axial positions while you tune or service the gearbox. It is a compact mechanical retainer used to preserve bearing alignment when gear lash or preload changes.

To fit the stopper you will normally remove part of the gearbox or differential casing to access the bearing seat, slide the stopper into place, and reassemble using the original fixings. No specialist tooling is required beyond common hex drivers and screwdrivers. The spring steel shape gives modest retention so the bearing stays seated yet remains serviceable.

During routine tuning and maintenance the stopper helps prevent thrust bearings from moving when you adjust gear mesh, swap bearings, or change motor and gearbox components. Inspect it whenever you change bearing sizes or perform scheduled drivetrain checks.
