What this retainer does

This O.S. Engine OS25881700 carburettor retainer is supplied as a replacement part to keep 40L carburettors held firmly to the engine housing in nitro RC models. By preventing movement it helps keep throttle linkage geometry and needle positions stable during operation.

To fit the retainer, attach it to the engine flange at the original mounting points and make sure the carburettor is seated squarely in the intake. Align the throttle arm before final tightening, use the existing screws and hand-tighten to a firm feel, then verify after a short run that nothing has worked loose.
