Adjustable resin cams for touring belts

This Yokomo B7-BTC kit supplies four resin belt tension cams engineered for 1/10-scale touring cars. The lightweight resin construction reduces added mass while permitting swift adjustments to belt tension without replacing bulkier drivetrain pieces.

Mounted in the belt path, the cams change the tensioning point and take-up characteristic, providing a simple way to refine drive feel and belt stability during setup. Installation follows the usual belt-drive touring-car routine: remove the belt cover and exchange the cams, observing chassis-specific maintenance steps.

Setup guidance: make conservative, incremental adjustments and confirm belt alignment and runout after each tweak. As these components are resin, avoid over-torquing nearby fasteners to prevent deformation. They are well suited to tuners who want a lightweight method to micro-adjust belt behaviour on the listed models.

These cams let you fine-tune belt tension to influence drive smoothness and stability; the exact handling effect depends on your overall setup and adjustments.
Resin reduces weight and is useful for tuning, but it typically wears sooner than metal; for heavy competition use, inspect wear regularly or consider metal options where appropriate.
Make symmetrical, small adjustments and check both belts for identical runout and alignment; avoid overtightening fasteners near the cams to keep the resin intact.
