Precision slipper control for D-Max

This is an RC-scale adjustable slipper kit tailored to the D-Max series, built so you can control slipper engagement without a complete clutch swap. The compact unit concentrates on the user-adjustable interface used to tune traction and wheel slip response on model cars.

The SD-670SP features an adjustable nut matched to a spring so you can alter the way torque is passed through the slipper when loaded. That lets you tune slip characteristics for a range of track surfaces and driving styles, supplied as a small parts pack compatible with D-Max slipper systems.

Experienced hobbyists will find installation straightforward: the kit replaces or complements existing slipper components and enables incremental engagement changes by altering nut preload on the spring. Use standard hex drivers for basic setup, and follow your chassis documentation for final assembly and torque figures.

Packing includes

  • Slipper Adjustable Nut - 1 pcs
  • Slipper Spring - 1 pcs
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The kit includes one adjustable slipper nut and one slipper spring provided as tuning or replacement components for use with D-Max style slipper assemblies.
Start with a light preload and test on a representative surface, then increase nut preload in small steps until the desired slip behaviour and traction balance are found.
By changing the nut preload you can control when the slipper slips under torque, helping to reduce wheel hop and improve driveability across different track conditions.
