Header pipe for nitro RC engines and tuning

This exhaust header pipe is an RC-scale replacement identified by the PURE 10S Class 12TR designation, intended for compatible nitro engine systems. It provides primary exhaust routing and will influence backpressure and powerband behaviour when used with an appropriate tuned pipe and engine manifold.

Installation notes: inspect the mating flange and threaded connections prior to fitting, use the correct gasket or O-ring where required, and secure the mounting hardware to the manufacturer's recommended torque for model parts. After fitting, verify there are no exhaust leaks and carry out break-in runs and tuning checks to ensure fuel mixture and timing remain within safe operating limits.

Tuning role: fitted as part of the exhaust system the header alters exhaust pulse timing and the tuned pipe position, affecting midrange and top-end response. Expect modest tuning work, including step-by-step needle adjustments and short test runs, to restore optimum performance.

Ensure flange faces are clean and flat, fit the correct gasket or O-ring, and tighten bolts to the specified torque. Recheck after initial runs to confirm no leaks have developed.
Changes are usually modest; expect some midrange or top-end variation that is best managed through incremental needle setting adjustments and successive test runs.
Perform a short break-in run, then progressive throttle tests while monitoring temperature and mixture. Use small tuning steps to reach stable performance.
