Overview of the R12 Graphite Plate

The graphite suspension mount plate is intended as a replacement for the stock pitching plate on the Yokomo R12 chassis, retaining the same shock mounting pattern. It offers a stiffer, lightweight mounting surface so shock upper locations remain stable during repeat setups.

Installation uses the standard pitching plate footprint on R12 towers, seating in the shock tower area and attaching at the original points so no other suspension components need modifying. It is practical for repositioning shock mounts or for quick comparisons between materials during setup work.

For precision tuning the plate functions as a reliable reference for experimenting with shock angles and mount positions, allowing you to judge the isolated effects of mounting changes and spring/damper settings on handling characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for R12 chassis that use the common pitching plate footprint; check your tower layout against the standard pattern to confirm fitment.
If the reinforcement interferes with the standard pitching plate footprint you may need to verify clearance, but on typical R12 towers the plate installs without interference.
The plate suits both on-road and drift applications where consistent shock upper positioning is required for reliable tuning comparisons.
