This long rear shock cylinder is manufactured for use with R12-design rear shock assemblies on 1/12 scale RC models. The extended cylinder body modifies available travel and oil capacity compared to standard cylinders, and is suitable for setup changes or part replacement.

Compatibility is specific to R12-configured rear dampers as denoted by the product code. Prior to fitting measure piston, seal and shaft clearances to ensure correct fitment, and verify O-ring seating to prevent oil loss. Select shock oil and piston setups that match the target damping behavior.

Performance note: the increased internal volume provided by the longer cylinder can change damping response and chassis attitude, allowing a broader tuning window for rear response and rebound. Document adjustments so you can return to proven configurations.
