Upper arm locating mount for R12 and GT models

This is a precision upper A arm mount for Yokomo R12 and GT series RC cars. Formed from graphite resin, the item is firmer than the OEM piece, which helps to make steering tracing crisper and to improve turn-in response without altering fundamental suspension geometry.

Fitment and role: the component replaces the standard upper arm locating point on the front suspension and functions with existing links and uprights on compatible R12 and GT chassis. As a chassis tuning element, it stiffens the area around the upper arm joint so that steering commands face less local flex and transient steering behaviour becomes more repeatable.

Installation notes: the mount is intended to be swapped in place of the original upper arm mount. Installation requires basic front suspension disassembly, and the common hex drivers used on your chassis are sufficient. After installation, recheck alignment and steering freeplay to confirm the anticipated change in steering behaviour.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
By increasing local stiffness at the upper arm joint, the mount reduces unintended flex, which can alter the way steering inputs propagate through the chassis. This makes tuning more predictable and can help when refining transient handling characteristics.
No special tools are required beyond standard hex drivers. Remove the front suspension components as needed to access the upper arm mount, fit the new part, then rebuild and verify alignment and steering freeplay as part of your setup checks.
