Overview: upper A-arm for R12/GT

This replacement upper A-arm is offered as a standard service component for the Yokomo R12/GT family. It installs as a direct-fit part for worn or broken arms and assists with routine setup changes during chassis tuning. The following text covers fitment advice, installation points, and how the arm contributes to suspension geometry.

Compatibility is restricted to the R12/GT variants listed. Verify your chassis model before purchase to be sure the arm aligns with existing mounting points and ball stud locations.

Supported chassis: GT5-R35, GT5-SC430, GT3-REA, GT3-IS350, GT3-B4, GT3-CAX, GT3-BRZ, GT3-AHP, GT-B, GT5-R2, GT5-RS2.

Installation notes: This A-arm fits using the chassis original fasteners and ball studs. During replacement, check the hinge pin and bushings for wear and re-establish suspension alignment (camber and toe) after fitting. Torque fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer's specification and confirm the suspension travels freely.

Tuning role: Condition and geometry of the upper arm affect camber gain, roll centre height, and steering return. Fit this part to restore baseline suspension geometry prior to more detailed adjustments such as shock valving or toe changes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Refer to the supported chassis list included above; only the models shown are supported. Match your chassis code to that list to confirm compatibility.
Inspect hinge pins, bushings and ball studs for wear, ensure correct alignment of mounting holes, and retorque fasteners to the manufacturer's recommendation.
Manually cycle the suspension through full travel to check for binding, then remeasure camber and toe to confirm the setup is within expected ranges.
