The Yokomo YOKYS900 Super Blend Shock Oil #900 is a silicone fluid created for RC-scale shock absorbers. It serves as the damping medium within oil-filled dampers and is intended for model suspension tuning rather than any full-size vehicle application.

As a tuning fluid, it smooths damping response by lubricating piston movement and regulating flow through shock ports. In compatible silicone-filled shocks, it helps refine rebound and compression so drivers can adjust handling without changing hardware.

When replacing or topping up shock oil, use a tidy bench and keep contaminants away from both the bottle and the shocks. Drain the old oil completely, examine shock shafts and seals for wear, then refill in line with the shock maker's recommended fill levels to reduce aeration. After reassembly, cycle the shocks to expel air pockets and check for even damping across all units.

Tuning advice: choose fluid weight and piston combinations based on the behaviour you seek. Lighter oils lower damping for livelier response, while heavier oils raise damping to slow motion and stabilise handling. Make small, recorded changes for consistent tuning outcomes.
